Harbor Lines

A harbour is a working place before it is a pretty one. Fjord & Co asked for a brand film that respected the early-morning reality of the docks — rope, diesel, gulls — and still felt like a cinema trailer.

We shot over three dawns in late March, mostly on 16mm for the texture of low northern light, with digital for the drone passages over the breakwater. No actors, no set dressing: the harbour crew simply did their jobs while we stayed out of the way.

The cut runs 102 seconds and never leaves the water’s edge. Sound design carries half the story — halyards, hydraulics, a radio left on in the wheelhouse. The film now opens every Fjord & Co pitch and runs in the terminal building on loop.
